The Market Lane Group of restaurants (Market Lane, The Castle Cafe , Elbow Lane, ORSO and Goldie) have 4 premises in Cork city centre – three on Oliver Plunkett Street and one on Pembroke Street.
We designed these window vinyls for the group to display on all their premises – as a way to signal their inevitable return to business after COVID-19 and also to simply send out some love to the city.
The vinyls were cut and installed by Signrite who worked quickly to put up the graphics on all the venues early on the morning after St Patrick’s day. They immediately attracted attention and comment. Then something wonderful happened – first one neighbour and then another got involved as more businesses in the immediate locality asked how they could join in and adopt the design for their own shopfronts.
In that spirit of community Market Lane Group have very kindly decided to make this work available to all and hope that other businesses will join in.
